Western Relief Road

Visitors to this website might like to see the responses made by the Parish Council to the two alternatives put forward so far for the Western Relief Road.  No decision has been made.  You can view the applications on the TD website www.tauntondeane.gov.uk then on the front page click on ‘search for a planning application’. On the next screen you will be able to enter the application number, 48/14/0031 or 48/14/0051.  The application with all documents and correspondence will be available for you to read.

Please note that the Western Relief Road is required to be built by the occupation of the 651 house in the new development. Occupations currently (Sept 2015) are about 300. Discussions between the developers and Taunton Deane Borough Council, who is the Local Planning Authority, are ongoing.
