Traffic Calming

The Parish Council has continued its dialogue with Somerset County Council regarding the road infrastructure as it currently exists and forthcoming changes.  The old A38, the Bridgwater Road, will shortly be closed to allow traffic calming measures to be put in place in front of the new Primary School and local centre shops on the other side of the road.  This improvement will assist in creating a vibrant new centre for the community, where local residents can gather. The community hall – Brittons Ash Community Hall, BACH, will be housed on the same campus as the Primary school.  Anyone interested in helping to manage this brand new community facility should get in touch with any Parish Councillor or the Clerk.
